EKCO was a British electronics company producing radio and television sets from 1924 until 1960.
It is estimated that by 1945 EKCO had over 8,000 people working for it across various sites. Because of the numbers of their factories and their electrical and plastics technology they diversified into many different product lines. These included televisions, radios and audio equipment, but also electric heaters and blankets, plastic kitchen and bathroom items
