Steepletone was established in the late 1960s and was incorporated in March 1972 by the founder and chairman Tony Tyler. Steepletone’s UK Head Office is in the village of Croughton, on the South Northamptonshire/Oxfordshire border. In the early years of trading they were manufacturing record players in the UK. In the 1980s Steepletone moved its manufacturing to the Far East to remain competitive in the market place.
