Iconic candle stick telephone from the states, a true survivor of its time. Patented in USA 1904 (specifically Aug 16, Sept 13) perfect for a prop or restoration project.
The candlestick style got its name from its candle shaped body, they were used from the late 1890s right into the to the 1940s. The telephone has a enamelled metal base, with original felt trimming underneath. Metal stem and back plate with Bakelite mouthpiece and receiver. Original cloth cords, slight crack on the Bakelite receiver rim, rest of the phone in great condition.
This telephone would make a great addition to any antique or vintage telephone collection!
