Genesee Brewing Company is an American brewery located along the Genesee River in Rochester, New York. In 1878, Genesee Brewing Company moved up into Rochester. Mathius Kondolf, one of Rochester’s early entrepreneurs, purchases Reisky & Spies, changing its name to The Genesee Brewery.
The Genesee Brewery continues to operate to this day and the brewery remains in Rochester, New York.
