The Knox Hat Company was founded in 1840 by Charles Knox in New York City, New York. It’s industry was hats and its headquarters remained in New York City, New York. It went defunct in 1932 when it along with Cavanagh-Dobbs, Inc. and Dunlap & Company to form the Hat Corporation of America. You can still buy Knox branded hats today.
