Description
A impressive tall counter top display unit typically found in a general retail or dry good stores in the late 19th century-early 20th century. American made, this beautiful piece of furniture is made from a wood frame and nickel plated. Curved glass and wooden interior base. The case is accessible via 3 separate hinged doors on the back, mirrored on the interior cabinet side, apart from one door which will need to have its mirror replacing.
All original glass, amazingly, still intact. The nickel plating has dints and marks in places, small upright section needs replacing inside the case. Some nickel lifting away on a couple of the corners. Over all this is a stunning case.
