Decorative cast iron Clean Out fireplace door and frame. The decorative cast patterns; Lion face, filigree and dragons are painted green while the rest of the item is a cream colour.
Typically these were installed on the outside of a premises, on the back of a chimney breast to clear out ash and debris.
